Letters to the EditorWonderful magazine and staff

What a great magazine! I love all the beautiful gardens, interesting articles on local people and events. It was a privilege to be included in the autumn issue’s “Cooking Is a Family Affair.” It was fun to work with Rodika Tollefson. She had a nice, easy manner with our grandchildren when she interviewed them. Also your staff is wonderful!

An example of this was that we wanted extra copies of the magazines to send to grandmothers in other states. They exclaimed, ” No problem, how many extra copies do you need?” Thank you for a remarkable, beautiful magazine.

Splendid coverage

On behalf of the KPC Farm Council, I am writing to thank you for the splendid coverage of our Key Peninsula 2014 Farm Tour on page 21 of the Winter Issue.

We estimate that over 1,000 visitors toured the Key Peninsula on Oct. 4. Sales were up for vendors and gift shops and the 12 destination sites experienced great attendance, a happy experience and productive public interaction. Our survey at the Fiber Arts Show recorded complimentary remarks from travelers representing 44 different zip codes.

On behalf of the KP Farm Council, I am sending our gratitude and appreciation to the WSHG for recognizing and supporting the farm tour.

Support appreciated

Thank you for the generous support of Table Top Christmas. This year, the Violet E. Carlson Memorial Guild chose Harrison Medical Center’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Department as the recipient for the proceeds from our event. Your sponsorship has helped us meet our goal of bringing joy to the children in the program and making life easier for their parents.

Thank you for helping make our community better through your support!

Big thank you

We were all excited to see Jim Valley’s home featured in the fall magazine; Jim is a close friend and we absolutely love any excuse to visit his oasis. This was captured so perfectly.

And then to see the “Unsung Hero” article. Thank you for the opportunity. If it allows us to reach another family in the area and assist them in their path, then it was a wonderful thing. THANK YOU again.

Of all the magazines we feature on our coffee table, it’s WSHG — with back issues from over two years ago!
